Co-Curriculars – Where Learning Finds Its Pulse
Culture at RVIS is lived. It’s in the way children line up, ask questions, apologise, make decisions, and begin again. Our routines are not rules — they are rituals that shape character.
Jumpstart Time
Pre-primary students start each day outdoors — building sensory readiness and emotional grounding before formal learning begins.
Assemblies That Belong to Children
Wednesdays are led by student teams and Fridays by the full school community. These are not speeches — they are moments of collective pride, gratitude, and student voice.
Theme Thursdays
Once a month, students dress up for a theme — be it Retro Day or Monsoon Day — and experience school through a lens of playful transformation.
Recognition With Meaning
Through Star of the Month and Le Reyon d’Or, we celebrate not just high scores — but kind acts, creative effort, emotional growth, and small personal milestones that matter deeply.
Screen Time & Homework
We balance tech and task. Screen use is moderated and logged. Homework is purposeful, never overwhelming. Childhood is protected while learning is deepened.
Care as Culture
Children transition gently. They are spoken to with kindness. Discipline is restorative — not punitive. Our Rewards and Consequences system helps them learn to take responsibility in meaningful ways.
Safety as a Way of Being
Our Child Safety Policy ensures emotional and physical well-being — through no corporal punishment, anti-bullying norms, regular safety drills, and active student participation in safety committees. From CCTV to trained guards to mock drills, students know they are seen, protected, and valued.
Everyone Is a Learner
Our CPD sessions for staff, guest sessions from parents, and student-led exhibitions ensure that at RVIS, learning never stops. Every adult is a co-learner, and every child is a co-teacher in their own way.
